About Food Concierge XYZ

The origin story for the name started whenever friends or family wanted to go out to eat, they’d reach out to me and pick my brain. I would ask them for what type of cuisine they are interested in and I’d take them to a restaurant (or two) and order for everyone. It was always about the moment and what they liked and were willing to try. I made sure my ordering was inclusive and whenever possible I provided context to both the dishes and the culture of the cuisine. Over the years of these outings, my friends eventually started calling me the Food Concierge and encouraged me to start a blog.

Food is my favorite way to express myself and how I communicate best. It’s been a part of my Chinese culture and how my family came together to talk, laugh, and share the trials and tribulation of life over a meal. And now I want to share that with the world.
